The Contents Under Pressure team (from L to R, Dan Anastasio, Dan Burkey, Matt Cooper, and Cheryl Bodnar) accepted the 2023 Himmelblau Award for Innovations in Computer-Based Chemical Engineering Education at the CAST Division Dinner on Tuesday, November 7 at the AIChE Annual Meeting in Orlando.
The Contents Under Pressure team is thrilled to have been awarded the 2023 David Himmelblau Award for Innovations in Computer-Based Chemical Engineering Education, which “recognizes an individual or group making new and novel contributions to computer aids for chemical engineering education.” The team will accept the award at the CAST Division Dinner at the AIChE meeting in Orlando, FL in November 2023.
Contents Under Pressure was recognized internationally with a Silver Medal at the 2022 International Serious Play Awards Program as an example of a “serious game” being used in higher education.
